Enjoy a unique, safe and fascinating underwater walk on the ocean bed (about 3-4m depth), and witness firsthand the magnificent marine life of the Eastern coast of Mauritius, the beautiful fauna, corals, and a wide variety of fish, all in their natural habitat. Qualified experienced guides will accompany you along the course of the Underwater Sea Walk guaranteeing your maximum safety.
The excursion begins with a motorboat transfer from the Belle Mare beach to a platform situated inside the lagoon. Upon arrival at the platform you will receive a pre departure briefing on the gear, the local marine life, on safety procedures and on the underwater walking trail.
With the help of the guide you will go off board the platform to start your underwater walk adventure.

2. Is it safe?
Yes. The activity is completely safe and supervised by experienced and certified instructors. All equipment is tested before use.

People with heart conditions, asthma, epilepsy, or recent surgeries should consult a doctor before booking. Pregnant women are advised not to participate.

Yes, your body will be underwater, but your face stays dry inside the helmet. You can even wear glasses or contact lenses.
6. How deep is the sea walk?
The walk usually takes place at a depth of around 3 to 4 metres in calm lagoon waters.
7. Can I take photos underwater?
You can’t carry your own camera underwater, but professional photos and videos are taken and offered after the walk (optional purchase).
8. What do I need to bring?
Just a swimsuit, towel, and possibly a change of clothes. Everything else is provided.
9. Is it affected by weather?
Yes — the excursion may be cancelled or rescheduled in case of rough sea conditions or bad weather, for safety reasons.
10. How long is the entire excursion?
